Jahmal Cole Enterprises was founded by community leader, author, and national speaker Jahmal Cole. As the founder and CEO of My Block My Hood My City, Jahmal has dedicated his life to creating opportunities for young people, building stronger communities, and advancing social justice through service and education.

Recognized as one of Chicago's most impactful leaders, Jahmal has received numerous honors for his work. Jahmal is also the subject of the acclaimed feature documentary A Tiny Ripple of Hope, which highlights his journey of leadership and resilience.

In recognition of his lifelong commitment to empowering youth and communities, Jahmal has been awarded two honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degrees—one from Adler University and another from DePaul University.

Most recently, in one of his final acts in office, President Joseph R. Biden Jr. honored Jahmal with the President's Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating his unwavering dedication to service and civic engagement.
